We are heading excitedly towards the summer...
This summer we have two very exciting projects taking place in Scotland. The Silver Bough, a new work created using the book of the same name, a treasure trove of information on Scottish folklore, history and legend. We are delighted that Gerard McBurney, Creative Director of Chicago Symphony Orchestra and composer is returning to Scotland to write the music for this new piece which will be premiered at the Aberdeen International Youth Festival on 3 & 4 August.
At the Edinburgh Fringe Festival YMT: UK will perform Missing Melanie, the dramatic story of a missing teenager and the impact and fallout it has on the lives of those involved. The performances will be at George Square Theatre from 13-16 August.
The Studio Edinburgh, at Fettes College, is full and Jodie and Pete are looking forward to creating a brand new show.
In other areas, the first Voice Works course at RSAMD has started, with Christopher Breckonridge and Lin Marsh. Dates for the autumn course coming soon...
