Grant is the resident composer at the Bridewell Theatre, where his new musical "Three Sides" is in development with artistic associate Clive Paget acting as director/dramaturg. Grant has written two other musicals for the Bridewell - "Beyond the Sea" and "A Celebrity Chef Ate My Hamster!"
Other composition for the Bridewell includes songs for the David Ives' play All in the Timing, Twelfth Night, and David Mamet's Reunion.
Recently Grant composed a capella Gospel/World music for Tom Hescott's critically acclaimed production of Romeo & Juliet at the Southwark Playhouse. Other composition includes Much Ado About Nothing (Boughton Monchelsea Place), The Blue Diamond of Azkabar (Hazlitt Theatre and tour), Iona (Powell Theatre), Crucial IDentity, and the musical Born of Glass, which played at the Lyric Theatre, Belfast and was produced by the NYMT. Born of Glass was also performed at the TUC conference for Mr Tony Blair.
Plans for the future include a sequel to Hamster, called Laughing Mice; a musical about the International Cherry Pit Spitting Contest, called Spitting Distance; an intergenerational piece based on fifty years worth of postcards addressed to one woman, called Dear Miss Espir; and the intriguingly titled The Priest, the Butcher, his Wife and Her Finger.
