By air:

The nearest airport is Manchester, which is located 90 minutes drive away from the school.

By train:

Two railway stations can be used, both on the West Coast Main Line. Lancaster Station is 14 miles to the south, and Oxenholme Station is 12 miles to the north west.

By road:

Casterton School is situated in the village of Casterton, 1 mile from the town of Kirkby Lonsdale. Leave the M6 at J36 and follow signs for Kirkby Lonsdale. Follow the A65 past Kirkby Lonsdale and over the River Lune. Immediately after crossing the Lune, turn left onto the A683 towards Sedbergh. Follow this road to Casterton. Continue past the petrol station on the right and the Pheasant Inn on the left then turn right next to the War Memorial. Follow this narrow lane up to the school entrance gate on the right.
