Alexander works as a freelance Composer, Musical Director and Pianist.   He is currently Musical Director for JASSPA (James Allen School of performing arts) Youth Theatre based in Dulwich, London. 

He has worked as the associate Musical Director for Greenwich Musical Theatre Academy and with the National Youth Music Theatre as a Musical Director and Composer.  He has won various awards for composition including, Winner of the 1997 National Young Composer of the Year Award.  Alexander composes Orchestral & Concert Music as well as music for the Stage and Screen.  He is the Artistic Director of Street Opera – an Opera company which produces new Music Theatre work for unique venues such as Pubs.
